The scope of this project was the design of a typical king model room for a large, hard brand, resort hotel on the Gulf Coast in Florida. I worked as the project Senior Designer with Stonehill Taylor.
The space was conceived as an homage to Gulf-side sunsets and the warmth of the pink and gold sky and sand at dusk. We used materials that referenced the mangroves and light of Southern Florida including teak, rose gold, cane, raw linen-inspired boucles, gauzy woven sheers and quietly metallic drapes.
